Some more pics of my baby! I got an arrowhead on the base which was found in the field next to where i shot him. Also one of his older/smaller sheds fit well into the scene. The newer sheds i have from him were to big. It just didnt look right. I pulled him away from the wall so you can see the buckskin a little. We did that so if someday i wanted it in lets say the center of my future trophy room, it wouldnt be a piece of wood or whatever they use. Its a very nice touch. I best ask my taxidermist permission before i throw his name out there. He is a one man operation.

Only buck I've ever shot and the first buck tag I pulled in North Dakota. I almost care more about what it weighed than the points: was the biggest deer my uncles had ever seen in the area we hunt and they'd be going there for 20+ years. Ended up straightening a hoist hook on the ceiling and we had to replace it with a heavy duty one. Never did get it weighed, and I still kick myself for not doing it. Anyway, not the best pic and I never got it scored. Just good memories. Taxidermist aged it at 6 1/2 years old:
