Your top 3 bass from 2010

Set The Hook

Recommended Posts

This was my first year bass fishing. Nothing eye-popping, but a few nice ones for my first go-round.

5lb 10oz - White Booyah spinner with silver willow blades

5lb 6 oz - Gold Jawbreaker

5lb 6 oz - Black jig (can't remember the name) with a blue & black chigger craw trailer

Can't wait for next year!

5lb 13oz jig

5lb 13oz jig

5lb 12oz jig

just couldn't crack 6lb this year. Lots of mid to upper 5's though. I may have one or two days left though.

ps. I would have crapped myself if I caught 3 over five my first year!

well....anyone of you guys want to take me with you a few times next year?

STH says "Nothing to impressive?" then rattles off a 5# and a couple 4s

thatoneguy isn't somehow doesn't think its incredible that he caught 3 over 5#s...

and the rest of you with several over 6#? Holy @#@#! I guess I'm doing something wrong, or not fishing enough.

Very impressive everyone. a 5# fish in MN is a great bass, 6# is trophy status!

There are still opportunities to get some good bass on the line....season closes in February right?

Only one I weighed was 20.5" 5lb 13oz. My cousin and his buddy pulled a 6-11 and 6-4 in the area I caught this one a week prior so I went out hoping to break the 6lb mark 3 years in a row but missed it this year.

I got a couple other fish at 20" but I generally dont weigh them.

Sorry, I don't want to put the name of the lake on here......it's busy enough as it is.

I will just say it's south of the cities and north of Albert Lea.

I'm one of the few people on the lake that CPR bass or anything. I put the 7-8 in the livewell long enough to get it to the dock so a neighbor could take my picture, then back into the lake.
