nothing too impressive but it was still another fun year of fishing. learned some new techniques and fished a lot of new lakes. looking forward to 2011 opener already.

This was my first year bass fishing. Nothing eye-popping, but a few nice ones for my first go-round.

5lb 6 oz - Black jig (can't remember the name) with a blue & black chigger craw trailer

I only fish the lake I live on and get to fish almost every day....until I have to pull the boat, remove the dock and lift, which is depressing.

thatoneguy isn't somehow doesn't think its incredible that he caught 3 over 5#s...

and the rest of you with several over 6#? Holy @#@#! I guess I'm doing something wrong, or not fishing enough.

Very impressive everyone. a 5# fish in MN is a great bass, 6# is trophy status!

There are still opportunities to get some good bass on the line....season closes in February right?

The first two came from ND on April 10. I got a long season in this year.

Only one I weighed was 20.5" 5lb 13oz. My cousin and his buddy pulled a 6-11 and 6-4 in the area I caught this one a week prior so I went out hoping to break the 6lb mark 3 years in a row but missed it this year.

I got a couple other fish at 20" but I generally dont weigh them.

Sorry, I don't want to put the name of the lake on here......it's busy enough as it is.

I will just say it's south of the cities and north of Albert Lea.

I'm one of the few people on the lake that CPR bass or anything. I put the 7-8 in the livewell long enough to get it to the dock so a neighbor could take my picture, then back into the lake.

It was just one of those years. Not a lot of big fish, I did lose one boatside that looked like it might of cracked 6 lbs. Better luck next year, I guess.
