Deitz Dittrich
For those new to the HSO bass forum.. Welcome! The secret word is a play off what the catfish board does with the king of the cats contest they do. WE really have no real winner, I suppose the person with the biggest fish is the winner. But you win nothing but the bragging rights to the rest of us. You need to take a pict of the fish on a measure board with the secret word somewhere in the pict... SO you need a pen and paper while fishing and a camera. Everyones a winner in this that gets to go fishing.. Heck you can even fool the wife and say its a contest and you HAVE TO FISH.. The reason for the secret word, is so people dont post picts from last year or earlier this summer.. only fish from this weekend.. Take another pict of you holding it as well! Please post all picts from this weekend in this post with the secret word.. WHICH ISHSOGEDwhich stands for HSO(HotSpotOutdoors)GED(GetErDone)Have a great weekend all!

Deitz Dittrich
Well, While I did not catch one worth taking a pict of, a person in my boat did. I will let them post the picts later. Ray Esboldt
21" crankbait fish. I've caught longer ones, but am fairly sure I have not caught a heavier fish. Thanks for sharing the boat and the day DD.

blakjack23
Sorry Ray, no ruler, no win Looks like my 15.75 incher has the lead right now LOL! I also caught the 19 incher in the second pic and the 17.75 in the third pic yesterday too, but they were caught early on and I hadn't even thought about the contest until later in the morning. Then I attempted to write the secret word on my coffee cup, but wrote HOSGED instead. Oops, I guess I'm DQ'd too.
Larson15
Few fatties from Saturday. Found these 2 and a few others around this size on a deep rock pile. I guess the lakes are not fully turned over yet.
Nick Kuhn
Didn't get any bass that warranted pictures. Caught a number of small ones around just about anything that could cast a shadow. I did get a new PB "bronzeback" (see muskie photos) this weekend though.
Fever
I tried this weekend both Sat and Sun. No fish worthy of a pic. I found it tough going shallow and deep. Hope things pick up soon as my past two weekends have been difficult to say the least. I through the kitchen sink at em too... spinnerbait, shallow crank, texas rigged worm and craw, jig, deep crank, carolina rig, buzzbait.... ughh.. nothing worked. fished sat 10am till 4:30 (so it could have been a time thing), then sunday 7:30 am till 11:30 on different lake. In total caught 5 bass and one 29 inch pike. Got bit off (50lb powerpro) using a jig twice though... darn pike. Best bass was prob 16 inches. Craigums
My best fish of the weekend was 16 inches, this time of the year is always humbling for me and makes me realize im not nearly as good of a fisherman as Id like to be. The biggest fish of the weekend was a 17'' fish my buddy caught. Here it is.
st.crioxfishin
Here is one from yesterday. No secret word with me, so you'll have to take my "other" word for it. I lost a big fish off a dock earlier in the day. I went back to the same dock about 3 hours later and this dude showed up, same fish? maybe... missed it on a jig first time around and caught it shaking a wacky rigged senko on my second visit. Went 5lbs 8oz and 20 inches

thatoneguy
What's the secret word for this weekend? It sounds like I'll only have tomorrow morning to fish, so I better make it count!
