Fantasy Sites?

I run a league with my buddies and we have always used Fanball but have had problems with them in the last 2 years and we are thinking of changing sites.

Has anyone used CBS Sports to host their league and how do you like it? Any other sites that you have used that you really like the way they update scores or that it is just easy to use?

We had problems with fanball too, last year we switched to ESPN and everyone seemed to like it.

ESPN was ok for a free service. Better than paying $$$ for CBS. FAnball has been good to us also.

Yahoo is garbage. ESPN is the best, then FanBall, then Sportsline,

We had multiple problems with Fanball last year, so we are switching to NFL.com this year. Not sure how it is yet, as we are doing our draft tonight. It is free, however.

Yahoo is the best Fantasy site handsdown, been doing Yahoo since 03 without a single problem.

The question I have then is with either ESPN or Yahoo are they relatively quick to update score during the game and if you run your league is it easy to set-up and get your league's scoring in place? I just checked CBS and am surprised that the league would run $180 to be on that site compared to $70 on Fanball and ESPN is free.

I YAHOO too, and have been for at least 5 years. Finally won a season in 2009, but it was in Hockey

We almost switched to that one this year, Rick. Everyone in my league is a bit hesitant to lose the league history but I see where MFL will import that as well. Unfortunately I had already renewed at our site (Fanball) when they announced this was possible. Next year I will be looking hard at MFL.

What do you guys throw into a kitty for free leagues? We were on fanball, and had to of course pay for the site, transactions, etc. then the leagues comish quit on us, so I got a new league going thru Yahoo. I set it at $25/team and we're going to pay top 3 in a 12 man league.

for my league we pay 150 per team plus 3 per transaction with a 12 team league....end up being a nice pot but we pay out 1st 2nd 3rd and Toilet bowl champ...then we pay high points for the year and high one week total and every weeks high points get like 15

We do $50/head for 12 team league. Two division winners get money back. Then top 3 get payouts, plus Toilet Bowl gets 1/2 money back.

Winner's pot is usually around $250, second $125, etc......

not ouch for me as I get a free fee for being the commish and a couple other guys have added co-owners......the league has been around for 7+ years but I have ran it the last 2 and we have a group of friends that continue to play...if they can't afford it they usually add the co-owner because they don't want to leave a good league.

I'm the commissioner of a 8-team league. Entry fee is $70. Add/drops are $1 each.

Division winners get 15%

Super Bowl Runner up = 20%

Super Bowl winner = 40%

Toilet Bowl winner = 10%
