threeway
I hear there is a company that has made a SD card for your hand held GPS units that tell you public hunting land etc. Is this true? And where could a person get one? Thanks

Scoot
FYI- I've used the MN, ND, and WY versions of this product and I've been really happy with it. I know people who are using CO and MT this Fall and are excited about them. There's a gps version for when you're afield and a PC version for scouting from your computer. Both are invaluable to me for preparing for a trip. I've learned a ton about places I've never been and learned a lot of what I thought I knew was wrong about places I've been at for years. Kirsch
Scoot gave a good overall description of the KTRAX. It is available for Garmin and Lowrance GPS units. The only Lowrance unit that is not compatible which accepts a memory card is the Endura series at this time. The Outdoor Pro Store carry ktrax products. Tom7227
You can download the info for free directly from SD Game and Fishhttp://gfp.sd.gov/wildlife/gps/default.aspI did it and it's really easy. ND has the same thing on their HSOforum.
Ed Carlson
The new Fall 2010 NDTRAX update with the layering and new multi color layered mapping in the NDTRAX is exceptional in the Garmin version.

Ed Carlson
Some hardcore avid hunters/guides I know just field tested the new fall update 2010 NDTRAX in Western ND last weekend....they said it was spot on amazing. Totally sold on the TRAX product. They are eager to add the new Western states they hunt as well.
