Fox, Grouse and a Sailboat.

Recommended Posts

Great images (as usual), #2 is certainly a crowd pleaser and it's easy to see why, but I'm diggin #1, great environmental look, pulled off nicely considering all of the elements being balanced in the image. I also thouroughly enjoy the grouse image and only noticed the second time around that the grouse is munching on some greens,

very nice!

Jason, is the sailboat image a crop or full frame? Would you be interested in converting to B&W to show us that look? Would you post exif data on it?

FWIW, I agree with Shawn about the fox. Really like No. 1. Just that, for me, the sailboat image has a tremendous visual and emotional impact.

Can you shoot me an e-mail, as well? smile

A little bit was cropped of the left side of the picture on the sail boat because there was a wire or rope there. It could easily be cloned out too, but I am not patient when it comes to post processing so I chopped it off..:) The picture was taken at 8:00 a.m in the Grand Marais Harbor Saturday morning. The exif is as follows ISO 250, TV 1/125, AV 25 and 105mm.

Steve I sent an original uncropped by email.

Here is a black and white shot.
