Map of intensive, managed and lottery areas

When does the map that shows the different harvest regulations come out? I need to send a deposit on my rental cabin in this month and would like to know if my area has changed. If it was a managed area last year, what will the chances be of it going to the old lottery again?

I believe last year the map was out in mid July. So maybe another week and a half or so...

The regs are timed for an Aug. 1st release in the stores. Usually its available online the week or so before.

Your jumping the gun. Last year you didn't make this post until the 16th and that afternoon the map came out.

I have also been wondering what the new regs are this year and were the lottery/manageed/intensive areas are... I have only seen fishing regs still all over the shelves isnt it about time they shuld have the 2010 hunting regs out by now?

Full regs won't come out until end of July. Hopefully the map will be out any day now with opener only 2 months away.

Hey that was just wishful thinking for the map to be released early like last year. Don't drag me in to this

The map was in the newspaper here a couple days ago. Only difference was they split one zone into 2. 174 got split into 175 and 176 if i recall correctly. As far as managed intensive or lottery I know mine and the ones nearby are the same this year.

I called the info line. Sounds like the map won't come out until the regs come out late this week or early next.

The guy also said sounds like more lottery areas up North.

2010 Hunting Regulations

The 2010 deer season information booklet and color maps should be posted tomorrow. Hard copies should start showing up at the agents in a couple of days. Mine came today.
