with may 29th only about 2 weeks away, i am starting to get pumped to get out and go chasin. i was just wondering what is your go to lure or presentation for opener?

I like a wacky-rigged senko around shallow cover early in the year. Rattle baits and top waters fished over shallow weed flats produce a lot of fish to.

dude, i have like 30 rods, and 2 of them always have a drop shot rigged.. ALWAYS! But really, will depend at this point on what the weather does the next 2 weeks.

It will depend on what the weather does, for sure, but I bet a guy will be able to find fish both on the bank and off the bank. A variety of lure should work, you just might have all 30 rods on the deck.

Swim jig almost exclusively. I want to try out craw trailers w/flapping claws vs twister tail trailers, and see if there is any difference in producing fish.

Lacking success at that, I'm going to through senko style stickbaits.
