Puting 2 or 4lb test line through a wet slip bobber

bullheaded

Yeah, blowing through the end from top to bottom clears any water and once you get the line started it should feed through pretty easily! Can't say I've ever ran into trouble rigging up slip bobbers, and I use 4lb test on most of my panfish rods.

Get a fine gauge stainless steel wire to use as a threading tool. Fold the bottom 2 " like a flattened hook. Make it long enough to thread the tallest floats in your collection.

Just keep a fine wire in your rigging box and loop the line over the bent end of the wire....simple to thread it that way. I use a lot of Pole Floats and even trying to get 65# or even 100# Power Pro to cooperate though a 12" float is frustrating at times....so I use fine SS wire...one shot deal...no frustration.

When your at it, also add a heavier gauge wire to be used to clear fowled weight holes, or fowled float tubes. To poke lead or dirt from blocked openings....very handy to have around take my word for it.

They are what they call cheap reading glasses. Lots of people do this instead of getting propper bifocals. I think its called deniel? I know I went through it for a couple years before I broke down and got my bifocals.
