Bought a new otter sled ... now no cover?

Any ideas what other brad covers fit on an Otter 2 magnum ice lodge? everyone ad I mean everyone is out of the 1840 that I need.

Seems like everyone is out of the voyager cover too --

I am also looking for a replacement Otter magnum sized cover. I recently saw what I think was an aftermarket cover that seemed bigger and had extra tie straps/shock cords and maybe an access zipper. This is what I'm looking for, does this ring any bells with anyone?

Dahitman, L&M Fleet Supply in Grand Rapids has Otter Magnum Lodge covers as of last night. If you have an L&M near you they will do an interstore transfer.

I have an old generic snowmobile cover (the kind you find at FF, Northern, or Wally's) that I used on my Frabill. It worked very well, so much that I'm not sure why I went and bought the Frabill cover for mine.

Just an idea in a pinch, if you're not concerned about matching graphics and such.

Cabelas makes an aftermarket travel cover... it looks pretty nice.

All I can find on Cabelas web site is a standard Clam cover. Are you thinking they have something else?

goodtogo-the big c store sells the cover you described-black and yellow with shock cord and i believe a zipper access but you can't find it or anything ice fishing on their HSOforum right now. you might try calling the rogers store and see what they have. i believe there were 3 or 4 different sizes.

Go to Canvas Craft and get one that fits. The Otter Lodge cover is a piece of junk. Mine was so loose it wouldn't stay on. I complained several times and they kept telling me the new ones were on the way. Finally when I was about to drive out and exchange it, I thought I should ask...All they did was pull the elastic out and tie it off so the elastic fits tighter. Gee I can do that. So now I have a loose fitting cover with tight elastic...Now that's customer service for you! Frabill here I come!

Otherwise I have a cover that will fit it. Its from a Clam but it fits a lodge perfectly. Very nice cover with zipper on it for accessing your gear without taking the cover off.

The snow from my cat has wore one end of mine so thin i can see through it. it was a polar cover. i ordered a new otter one. I havent looked at one close but i am hopeing it is made out of a good material.

Another vote for Canvas Craft, just give them a call, they'll send it right up. Probably cheaper and for sure better quality.

I burned my orignial otter cover and bought a replacement from them. I was sad to see that they have really downgraded the quality. I think I'll take a look at canvas craft if I end up catching this one on fire like I did the last one (don't ask).

UPDATE --

Just wanted to give a BIG thanks to "Good to go" from Grand Rapids. he spotted the cover I needed and put it on the HSOforum and It is on the way for me.

I had my guy "Ron" at L and M in DL check all of the sores and they were all out except Grand Rapids had a MINUS one quantity to Ron called the store and they said they had one but it was reserved for a guy.

I told Ron about what our HSO friend saw and he talked to their sporting goods guy and for some reason it was back on the shelf. Ron told the guy to "Guard it with his life" and transfer it to Detroit Lakes for me.

I want to thank you again and it is nice to have a HUGE group of people out there like there is on HSO HSOforum. It is like having a massive group of friends out there ready to help.
