DTro
It was a bad version of The Blair Witch Project (which was above average at best).I like to see some originality and thought and even some wackiness in a movie. Guess that’s why I enjoy movies directed by Tarentino and also the Coen Bros.

It did have enough to register on the creep factor a little.

DeBo101
There's another Trailer park boys movie! That just made my day and all I have to say is "Decent!"Biggest letdown for me was district 9. I thought I was gonna really enjoy that movie but I couldn't hit the fast forward button enough times.Star Trek was surprisingly good. Inglorious has been in my que for quite a while but has been in wait so hopefully soon. The hangover was quite funny but no "Super Troopers".I still haven't decided how I feel about "Watchmen". Great soundtrack, 3 complex story arcs, and visually stunning. Maybe it was the tempo that was just a bit off or something.
McGurk
Heckle me if you want, but the new Star Trek movie (rental) was the most satisfying movie-watching experience I got this year. Didn't get to too many other flicks, but Avatar was a letdown and still got $30 from me to see it in 3d with my wife. District 9 (rental) was worse than I anticipated from it's critical reviews. Inglorious Basterds (rental) was OK at best. Watchmen (rental), while a very original movie but taken directly from an extremely original comic, was enjoyable but far from my favorite for the year. Mixed feelings on that one, too.On the upside; Coraline (rental) was a sleeper, I rented it and it was better than I expected. Up in 3D was fun at the theater, and I will say that the first 15 minutes of that movie brought me closer to tears than any other movie that I have ever seen. Ever. I did NOT see that coming. Also, I am ashamed to say I haven't seen the Hangover yet.

Farley
inglorious BasterdsThe HangoverWatchmenThose were probably the only new movies I watched last year. Watchmen was never ending, could be about 1 hour shorter if you ask me. Never really got into any of those comic book movies anyway.

zamboni
I see I am not the only one not too wild about Inglorious Basterds. Was really the first time I was let down by Tarantino. I thought "Death Proof" was better.
waterbound
I don't see many movies the same year they come out, but the one's I did see and liked the best were The Hurt Locker and Up. Inglourious Basterds wasn't bad, but I'm not much of a QT fan (I think he's a little full of himself and that keeps me from really enjoying his work). I can't remember what the worst movie I saw this year was, but I did see one or two that I really didn't like at all. Watchmen wasn't one of them, but it wasn't much better than the worst for me.
