Scott M
My wife was looking at all of our Playstation hunting and fishing games and said to me, "I bet a bunch of hunters bought Nintendos and the Duckhunt game back when it came out."I said no way, that game was for kids and was nothing like the real thing (not that any blood sport game is like the real thing). So I have to ask, did anyone run out to buy the game or system when they saw or heard about Nintendo Duckhunt? fishuhalik
Well, not quite the same thing but I bought the new Cabela's Big Game Hunter for my ps3 when I saw it. Figured I've spent $20 on worse things in my life.

T.O.W
I was just a youngster then but it groomed me into the great shot I am now.
zamboni
Most Nintendo decks CAME with it, along with Super Mario. So most got it whether or not they wanted it. I have 3 copies of it and 3 guns around here- one grey and 2 orange.

Now everything is a hot pink future alien laser gun. ahh memories... anyway back to the duckhunt.I got my system for smb and zelda but dh came with, never played it until the day i bought it. It was by far the best zapper game I ever played. Always hated the cheaters that would get a foot a way from the screen.
DTro
Not only did I have it, I'm pretty sure I had a perfect game or two.Folks didn't have a lot of money, so I got a Console that came with DuckHunt and Track N Field. I was pretty good at both since that was all I played. Day after day after day.
LMITOUT
I prefer Call of Duty. You haven't hunted until you've hunted man.

It was easier to get on hands n knees and use your hands than it was to run on that pad

But of course there were cheats. Certain power tools rigged the right way were unbeatable.

I could envision it now...... these kids find Moms buzzing toy and they start using it for track and field, then she walks in and see's whats going on ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I'm not saying that anyone's moms were using these, just a funny thought
