Had the H2O for a couple of years now and I would have a hard time going out without it now.

Shows plenty of detail and is accurate, might not be exact, but will get you within a small room of where you need to be, then your flasher will get you on the spot!

I believe the H20 will run about $260 with the chip and the H20C is another 100 bucks. I might be mistaken, but that must be close.

I've had my H20C for a couple of years now and it has performed flawlessly. Took me right out where I expected to be this afternoon. I'd recommend the unit and with the new Lowrance units coming out this year you may be able to find a "closeout" price on the H20 series in the near future.

I had the Expedition C once and turned around and returned it for the xog worked nice for work in cities but was a big mistake for durability and on water/ice, boat/wheeler felt like i was going to break it, plus the internal batt was a pain.Got rid of that and now i have the H20 c. I like this one alot feel like if it fell of a cliff i could go pick it up and keep using it,however if i could go back to day one with a gps it would be the Ex.c has the barameter function and weather alert. I really like them on the lakes with 1 ft contours very nice..

Keep in mind, the H2O line and the XOG line are now considered "Legacy Units" by Lowrance....as in they are being discontinued...in fact they are already...that is why they are cheap.

Factor that in when your looking at GPS units, as it will make warranty and repairs even more difficult to process. Just a heads up guys. The only way to guarantee your money back if they take a dump now, is with an retailer extended service plan...such as a "Summit Plan".
