dtro, I looked at and still have (somewhere) in my posession the weigh ticket. It definitely said 3,609 as the 'tare weight'. The gross weight was at 7,310. That would mean that even with my Polaris 500 in the house (a 6.5'x16') it would only weigh 1,701# I just can't believe that! Though, if it were true... I could drop the yearly plates on the house, and get a lifetime!! grin. I just went out to the garage to look in the glove box for the weigh ticket, not there. I'm thinking it's with the other licencing info. I'll just go weigh it tomorrow and get back at ya. Big Dave, topper is about 135#, I lift it off myself quite often. Phred52

I'm wondering if that scale was zerod out before I went on. there could've been a tare weigh from something before me. Like I said with the fish house though, I hope I'm not opening a can-o-worms as far as my trailer licence goes. I appreciate the posts, I'll know more hopefully tomorrow, as we all will! grin Phred52

Just came home from the scale...even more than a lot have predicted. 6,020 lbs! Full tank and driver on board. The 20# is probably the frozen slop on one flap. Ya all know, If I hadn't been challenged origionally, I NEVER would have given the trucks weight a second thought. As far as what happened the first time, the scale op had no idea(Same guy). Only difference was, it was August the 1st time I weighed it. Thanks to all who called me on it, and made me question it. Now, I for one am wiser. smile Phred52

No, I didn't re-weigh the house yet. Based on the previous weights, (3,609/truck and 3,701/fish house) I couldn't go lifetime tag, so I had to do the yearly plate for 4,600#, I've got some cushion there. One day when I'm headed out, I'll just stop in and get it weighed. Phred52
