zamboni
Who else feels they have no bizness being undefeated?? Another win by the skin of their teeth again today. Last week should have been a loss. The fix is in. Anyone who thinks the Vikes can't beat them in the playoffs is off their rocker
LMITOUT
Saints are coasting into the playoffs after MN's choke-job against the Cardinals last week.. The Vikes have no chance if they meet up.

zamboni
Saints squeak games out VS the Rams, Redskins and Matt Ryan-less Falcons. Yeah you are right, they are awesome. Vikes losses this year to playoff teams, and the 2 teams that were in the Super Bowl last year.

LMITOUT
Vikes losses this year to playoff teams, and the 2 teams that were in the Super Bowl last year. But the Vikes haven't squeaked any out? Are you sure about that? SF and Balt ring a bell? Not sure what last year's Super Bowl has anything to do with the present day...... Oh, that's right...nothing. zamboni
Did you WATCH the Baltimore game??? They HANDLED them all day, then relaxed and it almost cost them the game.
zamboni
As far as the SF game, what was Favre like 15 days into being on the team??? He had trouble getting reads and routes worked out when he first got here, and who wouldn't?? It was a new team and new scheme since last year. zamboni
BTW, I didn't start a new thread to discuss how the Saints are winning their games by an avg of less than 6 pts to have you come in and give us your warped view of the Vikes. james_walleye
Different thread, same act. No different than how fishin58 can take any thread and bring his act with junkson into it...
Big Dave2
I'll give you the squeaker against San Fran. They havn't showed much this season except for beating the Cardinals in the 1st game of the year but.....Baltimore is a good team 7-6 with close losses coming at the hands of good teams like Pats, Bengals, Vikes, Colts and Packers. Meanwhile the Saints have managed squeakers not only against the Falcons but the Rams and Redskins as well.
greebs
I think the saints and the vikes are basically pretty similar teams. They both seem to have their best games at home and on occasion don't play so well on the road. The difference is the saints have had some pretty good luck go their way in a couple road games where as the vikes in the pittsburgh game didn't have that luck. Unfortunately, for the vikes, they likely won't be playing at home if the meet the saints in the playoffs. I think if they played each other 20 times at full health, the home team would win every time they played. We know however that come playoff time, no team is at full health so that will also be key. wahoohendoo
how can the luck go the other way against pitt? look at the other thread the vikes are the luckiest team in the nfl!

FISHINGURU
they are the luckiest team i've ever seen its pretty pathetic...got what they deserve tonight.i can't believe folk still has a job in this league.
Mudcutter
the aints are avg at best and haven't played anybody on the road or in tough conditions and they still find a way to lose, but will likely have home field, but get beat again by the Boys' in the playoffs. Vikes/ agst the Boys' or Philly to play Peyton.Mark my words,, the Saints will not win one playoff game.
caseymcq
With the exception of last night's game against the Cowboys and their games against the Eagles, Giants and Patriots, the Saints' defense has seemed to play to the level of their compettion. They beat the Eagles, Giants and Patriots pretty handidly and those teams are or were considered some of the better teams in the league at the time they played them. With the exception of last night's game the offense has been pretty good. I think their success in the play-offs could go either way.
fishersofmen
Yea that defense has some issues, gave up 450 yards last night. Even if they win out, if the Cowboys can beat them at home certainly we can too.

rayguy
One thing the Saints have the Vikes don't is a coach who can alter game plans when its needed. The Vikes are so predictable and never seem to adjust at half time. Sometimes one wonders if Chillys headset is conected anywhere. In the playoffs they won't be facing the Lions, Browns or for that matter Panthers.
fishersofmen
I don't know, there was a few games early in the year where we were trailing at halftime and came out on fire in the second half.
