Congrats to The Twinks!

A warm and heartfelt congrats must go out to the Twinks for finally getting to the same point as the White Sox did last year.....Well actually, you can't say that since the White Sox did WIN a game in the playoffs! I guess we can trade in all those forks for O'Cedar's in Twink-ville tonight.

Isn't it ironic that the Twinks lose this series on a series of misques, I thought they were the Kings of Small Ball? Baserunning mistakes? I thought only the White Sox did that.

Closers who are supposed to seal the deal leaking like a twenty year old wooden row boat, shocking! You would think that Bobby Jenks was on the mound.

Interesting stat that in playoff games after the 7th inning the Twinks have been outscored by a wide margin of 50-15. Boy would an extra veteran free agent bat have helped out in clutch situations? Twinks will never know since they did not SPEND the extra money to find out.

But hey, cheer up Twink fans besause if you average what the Yankees spend over the three games of this playoff you are way ahead of them on spending your money wisely. The only thing I am trying to figure out is how you divide the Twinks payroll BY ZERO which is how many games they won.

GAME SET AND MATCH, see you all next year. Enjoy all those saved millions this off season and don't dare look at all those shiny pretty free agents out there, save that money!

Maybe the Twins did make some mistakes but those same players went further than those Ozzie players this season.

WCWH, you have to find something real to do. I would hope you also would not be interested in going into those lame Chicago comparisions as before. Again, you will be like the Suxs and Da Baers this season.

The sux lost to a team in 08 with a payroll of $43,820,598 while having a payroll of WHOA..did I read this right?..$121,152,667 ...

I thought you guys were the rich ones, you know with all that money you saved on overpriced free agents and mid season aquisitions. You guys saved nearly 60 million dollars vs the bloated payroll of the Sox and almost 200 million over the Yankees!

He just needs something negative to say about anything but his team coming in 3rd in the division. Who gives a rats rear end about what we spent and how we got beat. The Twins had a great season and finished 1st in the division. I tip my hat to the Twins who did what everyone thought they couldn't do this year. They made one heck of a run, but fell short. Windy, say what you want, but the Twins made the playoffs. The Sux....Well they finished 3rd. Guess that is not much to build on. Congrats Windy on another wasted season by the White Sux. They deserved it!

Caman, I LOVE THE AVITAR! Would love to put it up but as long as our ring shines brighter than the crusty old green ring of the Twinks Championship then I must keep proudly displaying it to all of Twink-Ville as a beacon in the night that they too can aspire towards. BTW had they discovered diamonds yet when the Twinks won their rings or were theirs carved out of a small dinosaur bone???

Well at least most Twins fans can remember winning TWO world series! How many Whitesox fans are left that can say the same! Last time I checked the Twins will hang a new banner in their new stadium next year! The same banner they hung in their stadium 5 times in the last 8 years.

I'll take 2 dinosaur bone rings, you can have your one gold one and if you can find the one widdled from a stick by a caveman, you can have that one too and wear it proudly!

I say congrats to the team as well. They put together a good run and made it fun to watch late season baseball again. It’s easy to blame certain individuals for their mistakes or miscues or umps for bad calls, but let’s face it the better team won and that is by design in a “best of” series. Hats off to them for entertaining the fans. That IS what this whole professionals sports thing is about right???

For some of you I’m not so sure. Relax, it’s a game.
