If I am out in the boonies or in Canada Lakes other wise rivers. Less boat traffic and other fisherman on the rivers.

River guys, Shhhhhhushhhh....All you lakes guys are right on, maybe even see if you can get some of the river guys to switch to lakes . cant drive the BIG comfy boats on the river either..

That's an easy one...Hands down it's Rivers for me ... and secondly.....it would be lakes with lots of rivers and Creeks.

I agree...rivers are dirty and gross. The people fishing on the rivers are really rude and they will rob you dry. The fish are really small, too, and not worth fishing for.

I guess I don't see the pollution argument. I fish lakes in winter and lakes when I don't have the time to go to the river. More and more my dream boat is becoming small, welded aluminum and built like a tank. When it's mine I may be a permant fixture near the dam.

I fish where ever the hot bite is. And during open water season that is usaly a river.
