Carp for sure, unless it's on my plate. The only thing a walleye is good for is eating smile

Yup.

"I think I might have one on... no, it must just be a stick. Oh, wait... it's a walleye."

Fought the first carp of the year a couple of nights ago fishing for walleye. I have to say, it was one heck of a fight. Roughly 8 lbs or so, about a ten minute battle, better than any walleye or northern I've fought.

musky will give you a better fight then a carp will... or even bass.

apparently you have never compared a 30lb muskie to a 30lb carp. lol.

Each to their own - but you have to be kidding.

Walleye #1 is the lean cusine of freshwater fish for the table.

Carp is for making pet food.

Yep, each to their own, but I'll take a mess of sunnies before a walleye for tablefare any day of the week. Not even close.

I caught a 34lb 9oz Carp this past Friday, and I have to say that was the best fight I've ever had with a rod on open water. Took almost an hour to get it in and then 2 of us to get it out of the water. But a good fight is all they're good for.
