DonBo
Sorry, no pics, but had one on my suet feeder this morning. Big beautiful male. Got the grape jelly out for him now. Funny story. A couple years ago a neighbor came up to us and asked "Have you seen those pretty orange birds in your feeder"? Ummm, yeah. We've seen them. eyeguy 54
delcecchi
Thanks to the alerts from here, I have the jelly out and a nectar feeder. Also shredded some twine and put it out, in case they need building supplies. So far haven't seen any and it has been almost 8 hours... Ufatz
As usual, according to our log, the Orioles, Grosbeaks and hummers all arrived on the 9th. Wrens and all kinds of other guys here earlier by a few days. But oddly, no doves yet. Don't ask me how these birds know the calendar. But then, maybe the calendar is just something WE need. Think about it.
smurfy
Have had doves for a while already. Seen the hummingbird again tonight. And the first Oriole. Haven't seen or heard wrens yet. Do have a pair of blue birds renting!
