Steve Foss
Birds that are as dependable day in and day out as death and taxes. But a lot more fun to hang out with!
Todd Caswell
Very nice, I sure wish we had grey Jays in the central part of the state. I remember them when we deer hunted around Northhome, they provided ALOT of entertainment during the day while on stand.
MN Shutterbug
Those are all beauts. Were these all shot recently?
Steve Foss
Were these all shot recently? All shot this month, if you consider that recent, and a couple within the last week. Why do you ask?

finnbay
Great variety and all top notch! I'm kinda partial to the grouse pickin' a snack, tho!
MN Shutterbug
[All shot this month, if you consider that recent, and a couple within the last week. Why do you ask? Just curious and jealous, considering my backyard is so dead. I know - I gotta live next to a forest, or at least a few trees.
Steve Foss
Just curious and jealous, considering my backyard is so dead. I know - I gotta live next to a forest, or at least a few trees. An impromptu feeder at the edge of the woods, a pop-up blind and a few perches. That's all it took. Easy peasy. The grouse was a bonus. micpic
As always, nice stuff! Like the Red-breasted Nuthatch. I can never get a good shot of one of those. The rusty underbelly never stands out as in your shot.Mike
