2009 carp and other Rough fish pics

went out today and caught 3 more golden redhorse that were all around 3-4 pounds!

really? the state and freshwater hall of fame record is 3# 15.5oz.

Here is one from yesterday...not huge, but it was a fun afternoon...all in all caught three like this, this was the larger of them. On plain ol corn...tried crawlers with no luck..

lol my mistake, i must of caught some other type of sucker....i only brought a polaroid camera so when i get the pics back ill post them..... These fish were beastly!

I'll add a couple. My first catches of the year. From Nokomis. 23", 25.5, and one that broke off, Broke the hook not the 6lb line. Weird! Corn on a hook.

Thanks shackbash. I try to go there at least a couple times a year. I live in Burnsville now so its quite a drive. I usually fish there when I need to get something from Cabelas. I know during the summer it gets pretty shallow there so I like that spot when the water is high. Plus most of my other shore fishing spots are flooded out..

Yup. Caught it on a BH hare's ear. I actually had just brought the fly rod to get some chubs for channel cat bait. Got skunked with the cats, had more fun with that guy peeling accross the river on 3lb tippet.

Don't have a clue on the weight, but was close to the 30" range...and a fun fight on the UL..
