Deadhead

I can’t help but notice that most of the fish in your area seem to taper from right behind the head to the tail long and thin. No belly! Is that something unique to your area or do the fish head to that dam in hard times. I notice it most in the Buffalo in your pics.

yeah those fish are more torpedo shaped than some of the other more robust buffs found on the Minn and Miss. I suppose they could be more slender due to having to swim in the current all the time. Not too many backwaters within the drainage....

haven't been out Jake due to all the shelf ice. I'm waiting for some warmer weather for the ice to start breaking up before I start hitting the OT.

well, would you recommend me going out there?

my spring break is in 2 weeks. and if the weather stays like it has been, it should take care of that ice shouldnt it?
