I usually just find a spot where I won't have to deal with lots of mud. Being able to land a fish somewhat easily is one of the first things I look for when scouting spots. If it's dangerous to land a fish I move to the next.

Thats not dedicated. I stripped down to my boxers to save my cat bobber from floating away down river after I broke my line off on a snag. Shoot, I'd probably go in sans boxers to grab a big fish if thats what was required.

I'm well on my way to becoming a River rat last night after that big one last night. I was crazy too think i was addicted to Cattin' before that big one, but I realized after you catch a truly big fish, it just goes to a whole new level!!

Right on I know what you mean there I have yet to actually land one. All I tought about all week was saturday the day I get to go back to the river. Bet I dont sleep tonight
