I have iced splake that were a real trophies like the brookies you caught.

I also have caught browns of similar size on the Straight River near Park Rapids.

Any way you look at it, big, small or outright tiny, they are some pretty fish.

I was out in Montana last fall and went up to a mountain stream and must have caught 60 brookies in an afternoon. They have got to be some of the prettiest fish out there, I had a blast that day! It's good to have a girlfriend who is from Montana I can't wait for memorial day when we're going again
