I was able to go down to the river that runs through town here and practice some pitching and flipping yesterday! Finally open water!! I had to do some casting as well just to get back in the flow of things. Don't worry guys this is down in Iowa so I was not out of season. It was fun just to be out and see the water again. Now we just need this warm weather to stick around to get the ice off the lakes down here.

I put a bucket out in the front yard 30 feet away and practiced pitching to it yesterday evening. My sister gave me this look like I was mentally unstable. The way I see it, it's really no differant than when she practices archery with a fake dear target.

Yeah, I have talked to him a few times. Just starting to get the itch, there is a lot of streams down here, but I don't know whats in them. Once the water opens up I wont be in this dilema, minnesota kinda stinks most of the year!

Pool 4&5 will be my main fishing spots once my stupid boat sells, apparently the banks aren't being very good with loans. frown
