IFallsRon
Dude couldn't buy a hit with the Twins but comes up with three homers for Pittsburgh in a spring game against the locals.
UdeLakeTom
But, didn't he do that when he was with the Tigers, and that is why the Twins signed him??
nofishfisherman
Who was pitching? He could have been facing some single A prospects who won't be major league ready for awhile.I'm assuming he didn't just hit 3 dingers on 3 wicked Santana change-ups. Hitters always come around before the pitchers do in Spring Training. I've heard some pitches also talk about not caring if the guy hits it they are just trying to throw to a spot and if they hit the spot they are happy regardless of whether the batter hits it or not. They are more worried about control right now versus getting guys out.
jigging-matt
It's spring training, let me see him do it during the regular season. Monroe is a nice guy, but his best years are probably behind him.
