Football's over

I'm in Phoenix on vacation. I played golf this afternoon because most of the courses in town were deserted. I got back to the in-laws in time to watch the second half.

I saw something today I never believed I'd see in Phoenix....an almost deserted freeway system at 5:30 pm. I would have liked to have seen the Cards win, they almost pulled it out.

Football season is never over.

Pro bowl is next weekend and the you have free agent signing period. Shortly after comes the nfl combine and then the draft. Lots to look forward to.

I seem to spend an awful lot of time researching college players and waiting for the draft. Going to start a mock draft thread shortly just to see who everyone wants us to draft.

Great Super Bowl game. Very exciting.

i thought it was a good game also. i think the officiating had a lot to be desired. i kind of liked the bud commecial where the guy got thrown out the window for suggesting to not buy beer for there meetings. either way there was a lot of former minnesota connections on both teams.

Was really pulling for the Cards being the underdog, I joked with friends that Fitzy should have kneeled down at the 1 yd line so they could milk the clock a couple plays, but huge gamble against that D. That first Doritos commercial was funny.

Yeah, I told the wife that they scored too quick, too much time left.

when fitz was running i looked at the clock and thought the steelers are gonna win this game. i wonder why they didn't flag holmes for the lebron james thing with the ball. i thought you were not allowed to use the ball as a prop for celebration? that may have helped the cards at the end. oh well, pretty good game just the same.

Well Football's over for the year

No it's not, we still have the pro-bowl, then there is the spring college football practice/scrimage, and of course the training sessions I'm going through with my son and daughter (she wants to play tackle football with the boys) to get them ready for August. Football season is never over.
