Thanks guys. I have one baitcaster left that doesnt cast very well, but i can pitch jigs with it. So, that's all I did on Sunday. I guess it worked out. Does help ease the pain.

Fishing was brutal this weekend but time is quickly running out so I had to get out there. Here is my best fish of the weekend.

I made it out twice this weekend chasing bronzebacks. Saturday we did well ending up with 20. Got 9 on a jigging spoon (1st time using one in open water for bass). Got another nine on a crank and the last two on a hair jig. Sunday was tough, ended up with 3 total, 2 on a drop shot and one on a crank. Not much time left up here. Several small ponds stayed capped over up here all day today.

Drove by the lake this morning. Some ice on most of shoreline, but launch area is still clear. If it holds out one more day I will be out again. High in mid to upper 30's Sunday. I've got my fingers crossed. One last shot.
