Big Tom
Not sure if it's as good as the hype but I enjoyed it alot. Clint looks like the Crypt Keeper but is still an excellent actor. The kid from Plymouth, MN is excellent.
snoozebutton
Thanks for the review. Always been an Eastwood fan and can't wait to see this one.

eric29
It was an excellent movie. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Windy City Walleye Hunter
My IT guy got a dub and it was pretty good. Clint can still play the hard guy even at his advanced age. Not a bad flick.Windy
Drewski
I enjoyed it a lot. Great flick.
IceIceBaby
Saw it yesterday and had laughed a lot at Clint's lines. Someone said he was like Archie Bunker on steroids and I'd have to agree.
DTro
While it was a great story, I really thought the acting/dialogue was forced.I would put it on my must see list though, tells a really good story and had some laugh out loud moments. Canon Guy
Saw it today. Well done all around. It showed some of the Hmong culture to people who know nothing at all about them. If it seemed a little forced to you Dtro, it might be because some of the Hmong actors have not acted before since there has not been much call for Hmong roles. Drewski
While it was a great story, I really thought the acting/dialogue was forced. It sure seemed that way. With that being said, it's still a great flick.
walleyeking19
We were going to see Gran Torino last night but my friends talked me into seeing Paul Blart: Mall Cop instead. It was okay but not worth 8 bucks

SledNeck
Good movie. The best scenes are when hes in the yard with the rifle and when he saves the asian girl from the thugs.

You are probably right.I was speaking today with one of the Hmong girls I work with and she said the Hmong portrayal was pretty accurate other than a few small details. Eric Wettschreck
I absolutely loved it. Clint still has "The stare."
polarsusd81
I saw it last night and loved it. Clint has always been a favorite for me. This movie will be one I watch many times over when I buy it on DVD. Everybody should see this movie, it says a lot about society in the past, today, and in the future. KadenBear
It was a good movie. To bad it's Clint's last acting movie.
SledNeck
I cant believe that they snubbed this movie.I thought it was way better than Benjamin Button. I also thought that 7 pounds was way better than benjamin button also.Slumdog Millionaire was a good movie, but not even close to as good as Gran Torino.Milk is not an oscar worthy film as a whole IMO, although I think Sean Penn's role is oscar worthy. Canon Guy
I think it should have recieved more recognition but not sure about a best picture nomination . Movies I enjoyed the most were Slumdog Millionaire(my favorite),Milk,The Visitor,The Wrestler,Defiance and the comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. SledNeck
I REALLY liked the wrestler..very cool how they filmed that movie, but I thought Defiance was one of the worst movies of the year. Nothing really happened in the movie. The Middle was so long and drawn out that I almost fell asleep and Im really not that picky about movies...but I will say that it was not very good at all. Canon Guy
Nothing really happened in the movie. I can see why some might feel that way. My opinion on the film might be because it hit close to home. I knew some who fought beside those brothers and some who participated in other resistance groups.
