Do Sharp-tails like lenthals?

You bet your sweet "BAHOOKIE" they do!!!

I was out crusing the backroads this morning when I came upon these Sharp-tails. They seem to be in great shape! Then again, why wouldn't they be, they're stuffing themselves with Lenthals that have yet to be harvested!

(Just so there's no doubt in anyone's mind, the word "BAHOOKIE" is another one of those Scotish inventions! I don't think that I have to actually spell out what it translates into, right)!

Stu, that first one is sweet! Great exposure, with no blowout in the snow, and sharp. Plus, the lentil plants are thin enough that the grouse is clearly visible even through the stalks. Very nice.

Great sharp shot Stu. I run into a covey feeding in the tree tops a couple of weeks ago and as far away as they were they still spooked and I was at least 30 to 40 yards away.
