whats the go to oil

I only use Amsoil at 100:1. Been using it for years with great success and absolutely zero problems related to that mixture.

I have used the amsoil for two years and love it. I run it about 80:1.

Just a little FYI as I was in Strikemaster today they had stated that if you run Amsoil in your auger Techumshen will viod the warranty if ran at anything leaner than 40:1......I told them my auger runs better since running Amsoil through the engine so they should be happy as I kept having them look at it to get it to start better, now I don't have that proplem!!!

Do you still get a little oil out of the muffler running yours 80:1 ? This will be my first year running my LazerMag at 80:1

i have not noticed the oil out of the muffler as much if at all since the switch

Bought some Amsoil Saber from a neighbor that is a dealer. Tried it out on the auger in the driveway today. There is far less smoke than standard 2 cycle oil. That is exactly what I was after for the wheelhouse. Thanks again to the expertise here on FM! ...now I just have to fix all those holes in the asphalt driveway Hopefully next weekend I can give 'er a try in some ice!

just picked up a 8oz bottle of amsoil to break in and run in my new nils...they didn't have the pillow packs but i'm impatient and a compulsive shopper so i grabbed it lol.

you can find some amsoil at your local honda/yamaha dealer or the like.
