zamboni
Detroit Lions EVERY Thanksgiving. Am I alone here??? Cowboys are supposedly Americas team, that's fine. I am OK with them playing every year. But something needs to be done with the other game. I am all for giving it to an AFC team. Patriots, maybe? Anyone have any other suggestions? zamboni
BTW, the reason I say the Patriots is because it is kind of symbolic Americana, and Thanksgiving happened in New England, so it kind of makes sense.
CrappiesNCats
detroit having the game is fine, whats ridiculous is that they changed it to 3 games this year.

snoozebutton
I don't think any team should have a lock on Thanksgiving Day games. Either rotate them or treat it like Monday night games where they try to come up with match-ups that have some national interest.
Sandmannd
I think it goes to back in the day when it started. The cowgirls and kitties were the only teams interested in this. So it was setup that they would host forever I guess. It would be nice to change that.

Sandmannd
Oh I don't know, you are probably only going to make a couple of thousand fans sick that day. I don't think they've sold out yet this year have they?

Hammer Handle
I like the tradition. And, from what I heard, they were the only two teams to agree to it many years ago.I say, let the tradition win!!Maybe Detroit will finally win one!! I think the Saints, or should I say the old Aints fans started that back in the day.
