This spring we went to D.C during the Cherry Blossom Festival,thought I would post a few. I looked into what it would cost me to spend a few days there around the inauguration ,LOL,I will be watching at home.

I love the last two images with the cherry blossoms. We were there a week too early this year.

We also have a picture of the soup line from the FDR memorial. I think that is a very popular pose.

We were there a week too early this year.

It was peek while we and about 1 million other tourists were there. Everything was quite crowed.

If you are going to see the museums and sights, weekdays in January are the best. There are very few tourists around that month and it can be surprisingly mild, if you are a northerner. I spend quite a bit of time there so if anyone has any plans I might be able to point out some restaurants and other things to see.
