They took 2 steps forward, 3 steps back last year. The defense is still pretty bad, but at least they can win those creampuff games that they are supposed to. Florida Atlantic is more athletic than some of these other pushovers, so that should keep the D busy on the indoor rug.

There ought to be some mild heat on Brewster next year, and even more by 2010. He needs a few of those recruits to stick. I still expect them to go 0-fer in the Big Ten this year.

But at this point, you take any W you get.

Yep, the Bison lost on the road to a Div I-A team. They can't play a cupcake like Minnesota every year for an easy win!

They were up 13-0 and then lost on a 29yd FG with four seconds left. On to conference play now!

Montana St. is Div I-AA? whistle

Have heard that a UND-NDSU potatoe bowl is in the future now that UND has stepped up to D1. Don't think NDSU has really wanted anything to do with them the past few years... Kinda like the rodents wanting nothing to do with a cupcake like NDSU. wink

Wyoming looks real tough. Shut out by BYU forty something to 0. UNI went to BYU and played them real tough. I guess my point is if you think Wyoming and Young St are tough,, watch out for UNI and SDSU. Welcome to the big leagues my pals!!!!

NDSU will be lucky to win 4 games in conf this year.

Yeah right....you think the Siouxage are going to put a tough game on their schedule?

They've been the forgotten stepchild in the state since the Bison went D-1, so they're going to cupcake their way back to the front page of the newspaper sports pages to re-inflate their massive egos.

The banned YouTube video said it all!!

Some woman reporter from out east was the one who voted for the Gophers. Her vote should be taken away. I'm a season ticket holder and I would love to see them do well this year but come on, top 25? If they beat the Buckeyes then they belong up there.

I would guess that the lone vote was based solely the undefeated record, and at this point in the season rankings mean nothing. Red-zone stats are great and the turnover margain is huge. Oh yeah and rankings mean nothing right now.

I will say this though, I am exited to see where we are in a couple seasons. It's a young team, and there are some athletes on the field. Nice to see some Minnesota kids on the field too.

If I remember correctly, the Bison didn't exactly rule the roost when they moved up. They managed to get a series lined up with the rodents that we all know will never happen again. Is there a difference in the Sioux stepping up as far as being tough to line up opponents? Please elaborate.
