TurnUpTheFishing
Hit the sportshow early wednesday, didnt have anything in particular I was looking for just cruising around. I hit the jackpot when I found a booth with a bin of crankbaits priced at $3 each. In this bin I was pulling out lures that sell upwards of $15-20 normally (japanese lures, jackall, lucky craft, some old bagley's and rapalas). TurnUpTheFishing
Dont know the name of the booth but they sold some rods and had lots of Omega jigs. I think I picked most of the higher priced lures out.

Fish Head
I'm headed there tomorrow (Friday). I'm also interested in hearing about any great deals someone found. Usually Thorne Bros and Marine General have some good buys. Let us know what you found.

Go2fish
Got a Humminbird 997C SI, 2bank onboard charger, the big gimbal mounting bracket, navionics north premium chip for $1970 at the Marine General booth. They have some real good deals on rods as well but I was already 1950 over my budget. That show is huge. Bring cash or check they can give you a better deal than with the card. I had the card

I suppose if I did not eat for a few weeks, I could save enough money to make up for what I would spend at the show ... hmmm, maybe I'll go after all - I could stand to lose a few pounds, I could tell my wife it is my new weight loss program

bonefish
Everyone seems to have shimano compre rods 20% off which is nice, because you never see them on sale. Reeds has older (2006?) st croix rods 40% off. Both Joes and Reeds have abu 701/702 spincast reels (noramlly $109) for only $49. I bought two at Reeds, and they not only gave me an additional $10 off rebate card for each reel, but the also walked me over to the Abu booth and gave me a tackle bag with 4 plano 3700's in it. Prety sweet deal!

marlinfan
the bikini team was great made a couple of passes by just to see if they had anything new.
Down Deep
I didn't see anything new on the bikini team. They seemed to have all the standard parts. LOL Did anyone see the ice fishing buggy? It's a good idea, but there is no way that thing is going to get around on the lakes I fish. They need to go back to the drawing board with that one. The wheeled fish house with the slide out is a winner. I got two Okuma line counters that are reg. $59 for $34 and two for one Gamma line. I also got a good discount on a Cabo trip for Nov.
