Hey it was kind of fun last night going back down memory lane, i feel hung over and i didnt even drink

I lived on 95th and 1st. All my friends went to Portland and Kennedy. I went to Holy Angels.

I played all sports in BAA and hocky at the parks. I've been on hockey skates since I was 3. If they had girls hockey back then I would have been all over it.

I lived right behind Kennedy, so I skated that hockey rink ALOT. That and Maplewood park was right across the street from me.

CC was one of my best friends growing up. We played soccer together along with all sports. Way too small of a world.

This is great tami i haven't talked with anyone in years from the old hood.

I skated at valley view and the rink by wrights lake over by cedar ave.

I played many games at the B.I.G

I went back to the B.I.G. 2 yrs ago with a friend to watch his son play in a tournament and it was very hard for me to go back very emotional experience going back there that place was my home away from home. Ohhh i miss them days. Good memories!!!

I played softball at Valley View for many years. I play AA ball on #3. That was my home away from home.

I still consider Bloomington home

Yes i played Baseball baa my Dad coached teams for a couple years. And i played Football BAA we were the East Champions 1 yr

My coach was kenny lind and ernie hauser I QB,d in the Championship game and we won. We had such a great team alot of tuff kids. WOW this is making me want to dig out the team pics.

We really should meet sometime and go fishing?

Holy cow...I saw deedee start this a couple days ago and now I seen it grew to this size I wanted to have a look and I read almost all of it.

Wow you guys are making me nostalgic, I kinda doubt there is anyone on here from my old hood. Most of them are either dead or incarcerated. (Or they wouldn't want to admit they were from there) Oh well here's an old rah rah for North High School class of "64" Go Polars!!!!

Hey i lived over on 84th and 14th.

When your husband lived there in the 60's i was born in 62.

So he was in bloomington when it was still fairly undeveloped i think?
