Hehe I was just joking about the 9 year list, but the chance to go fishing with ya, well that would be really cool! (Maybe you could show me all your secret deep water spots on Chisago! whistle.gif ) I'll see you at the FBL again this year for sure. I'm hoping to make it to more than 4 events this year. grin.gif

The guys at Northland tackle are awesome fishermen and I guess if I ever got the chance I would love to fish with them for a day! When I was young they kind of took me under their wing and I learned a lot through just talking to them at hotels and stuff, I couldn't imagine being in the same boat for a day!

Hard to believe there is someone else out there that wants to fish with GB senior just like me for the big stripers that would be the bomb with secret service and everything.

for bass it would have to be Roland Martin, dig the shades.

Well, I had the pleasure of fishing w/ al lindner once; And I would pick him again. I would love the opportunity to spend some more time in his boat on any lake, but, our cabins lake would be good again.

Little different, I don't think I would like fishig with KVD that much over others, not sure why exactly, maybe just his attitude sometimes? Don't follow the bassmaster tour thing a lot but Peter Thileveros (if spelled right) seemed real nice on the bassmaster classic showing and reading about him, he seems to really fish well (I guess all those guys do) and would like to get good at what he seems to excel at

Outside of bass elite stuff, and my first pick of anyone would definately be Al Lindner as others have mentioned, learned a ton of stuff from him and his families shows and books and stuff, and real nice guy, met him at Gander for a little once.

But Im pretty excited anytime I get to go fishing with anyone who has a boat with an engine and a bow mounted troll (I am powered by a troll motor only in a 14 ft boat)

I would like to fish with Mike Iconelli(sp?) for bass because he is crazy intense and I think it would be an adrenaline rush to be fishing out of the back of his boat, epecially as a co-angler.

Also, it would be fun to fish for monsters with Larry Dahlgren in exotic places around the world.

I wouldn't mind fishing with Bill Dance or Hank Parker because it seems that they would have a lot of wisdom and advise, not only for fishing, but for life in general. Plus, I'm confident that Dance mostly fishes private lakes that hold big bass, so that would be nice to catch nothing but 5-8 lbsers all day. Or I could use one of those wading tubes that he uses, in jeans and white tennis shoes and all!

Finally, I would love to fish with Al Linder. Growing up I used to watch In-Fisherman with my dad and Al Linder was always on with his Minnesotan accent and catching beautiful walleyes. He seems like the classic all-around fisherman, and I would be pumped to share his boat.

I have seen it on twice on versus I think it is Friday nights not sure what time, but its called City Limits I'm sure you could look it up and find out more. But they give him and his fishing partner a day to each catch a limit of bass both shows I was watching he was fishing in a river in downtown Chicago, and the other was on a river and you could see Washinton D.C. buildings in the back round. Both times he caught his limit right at the end of the day and acted like he was fishing in a tournament, and when he loses a fish its just funny how angry he gets.

Found this later here is the link for the show http://www.versus.com/nw/article/view/63915/?UserDef=true&catID=78

I saw that City Limits show once where he was in New York City and was fishing with some local guide out on the ocean. He also was doing some bass fishing in a pond in central park. That guy is a pretty animated character. He'd be a blast to fish with.

Since the question is "If you could pick one guy to fish with..." it would be my Grandfather. He passed away a few years ago, and by no means was a professional, but he sure loved to fish. I learned alot from him, and not just about fishing. I wouldn't waste my pick on some dude who gets tv time. To me they are just guys who market themselves to make some money while fishing. Not alot to learn from those guys but how to sell yourself, or how to make a shirt loaded with every fishing product known to man look somewhat ok to wear in public. Spending time on the water with people who truly enjoy fishing....Thats really what its all about...
