Whadddaya do? He had a good car.... Can't say much more.

WOW how did you like the post race interview with Tony Stewart.... Man he really let Goodyear have it. I don't think he will have a sponsorship coming anytime soon from them. Ouch, that was worse than most tongue lashings I got as a kid.

That whole race seemed to be more about survival than racing. That part stinks!!!!

I guess I can't complain, by the looks of my picks it was a very good week for me. I got lucky picking this weeks team and the finish. I needed a good one. hopefully I am alone in having a good week. I have a quite a bit of catching up to do.

I'd be hard pressed to say whether I like Tony Stewart, Kyle Bush or Toyota less. The sport would be much better without any of them.

As for Tony, what a crybaby! I bet NASCAR really loves to have him totally ripping their corporate partners like that. Nothing like biting the hand that feeds you, and judging by the size of your fat behind feeds you quite well doughboy! Hope he crashes the next 32 straight races with flat tires, just for Goodyears revenge's sake!

I had an usually good week for me too...

My points lead went up in smoke with Edwards. Even though I had to use my last week's roster due to me not watching the qualifying deadline, I was set up pretty good until he blew up. Oh well.

Stewart said in a later interview that he was going home and taking off every tire that is a Goodyear on any of his personal cars and putting Firestones on. lol.

Thats the thing I like about Tony he don't give a hoot about what nascar thinks he just speaks his feelings. I don't think hes the only one that is disgusted with the goodyear tires. Lawdog, my as well add Tony Stewart as your 3rd force.

I get bored with sterile commentary too. Glad to see Smoke mysteriously wind up in 2nd at least. I think he just ran outta time. ;\)

Good job Pyle! No one can doubt he pushed the envelope ALL weekend. At least this time he reserved just enough to keep 2 of his 3 rides (dang Goodyears) on the track and out of others' business.

Is he going to become.....likeable???? confused.gif

P.S. He was driving a Yote? Hmmm, can hardly tell. ;\)

Could it be that Tony is still steemed about his wreck last week and is still trying to stick it to nascar and goodyear? Or mabe he was just plugging his tire sponsors from open wheel who push a lot of $$$ into his dirt track and his outlaw team...

The shot over the bow is not always the loudest. ;\)

I'm usually a lurker in this forum, but.....

That's the reason I like Tony. He speaks his mind.

I'm tired of the guys that just say "Well, we were having a good day in the Viagra, Coke, Pepsi, Toyota, Dodge, Ford, Chevy, Lipitor, FishingMinnesota.com car today, but she got a little loose there in turn 4 and unfortunately we weren't able to keep it out of the wall".

Tell me why!!!

Go off on someone.

If the kid leaves the keys on in the car the night before, and you head to work and the battery is dead, do you say "well, I got up early and was looking to have a good day at the job, but the Craftsman battery in the LwnmwnMan2 Dodge just didn't want to work as we had hoped".

NO!!

You go in, chew the kid's butt from here to the neighbor's house for all to hear!!

It's one thing to speak your mind it's totally another to insult and berate people or sponsors on National TV like Tony Likes to do so often.

I was watching Dale Jr. on Hot Pass so I didn't see, but airjer's post makes me wonder what poor 'ol Elliot Sadler had to say about his car? It looked like he was driving on ice. Was he diplomatic in his comments about the car / tires?

EXACTLY! There is a difference between saying Goodyear missed the mark on the tire (like many said) and saying Goodyear is horrible and has failed out of every other kind of racing and no wonder, blah blah blah. He is just a fat whiny punk.

I'm not sure what to make of that, is it that because some here think I like Toyotas and now that they have a win I am finally welcome in this forum? grin.gif
