walleyes12
We can start seperating alittle with a win tonight! Go Wild
maros91
Sharks are a better road team than home team. They also played last night while the Wild had an extra days rest. The Sharks in their last 11 games are 10-0-1. It will be close tonight, probably 2-1 either way.
walleyes12
I hope the wild have the right mind set going into this road trip. Its going to be very important we start off strong. I agree 2-1 either way.(hopefully the right way)!!
Scott K
I hate to say it, but I think it will go the other way. The Wild need to win 2 of 3, this will be their loss.
yakfisher
I say 2-1 either way in the SO, so everyone gets a point as usual.

maros91
Gabby bailed out Skoula big time. Skoula is the worst defenseman I have ever seen. He turns the puck over everytime he touches the puck.Backstrom stops 1 of 3 shots in the shootout. I don't care if Harding is cold or not, we need to put him in the shootouts. Backstrom did play solid during the game but needs to be replaced on shootouts. The 3 attempts we had in the shootout were a disgrace. Even the one Burns scored on was terrible. Zig zagging all over the ice. I thought Gabby finally figured it out going in with speed and taking a quick shot but slams on the brakes and gets stuffed. 1 for 14 in shootout attempts doesn't cut it. Whatever happened to the Koivu backhand shelf? He needs to go back cause nothing else is working for him. Whatever happened to going down and making one move and shooting or just taking a quick snap shot? The Sharks did that and scored twice and won. Now, we did manage to get a big point on the road to start the road trip. We scored in the last 30 seconds of the game to force OT and hopefully carry that momentum into Vancouver on Friday.
mnwild
Well Foster is out for the year with a broken leg not good. I wonder if they will call someone up from the minor's for the remainder of the year.
walleyes12
Great game!! Skoula absolutly sucks!! Hes the reason for the 1st goal we gave up and the third goal! Then he had a huge turnover in O.T to Thorton. Boogyman is Back and made his presence early lastnight! That was the best fight I have seen in awhile! Its too bad we didn't get both points, I will settle for the point we did get. Backstrom did have a great game but I have to agree, we have to try Harding off the bench. Off to Vancouver, we need the full 2 points
maros91
I think Nummelin will see more time now that Foster is out or they will call up Shawn Belle.
walleyes12
I think Nummelin will be the way to go for the rest of the season, that way we can use him on the powerplay and shootouts if we need him. I am not sure if he would contribute enough for the playoffs. Maybe they will call up Shawn Belle for the playoff roster.
walleyes12
Oh man, what a game to watch tonight! (I hate the Cunucks) Another must win for the wild, oh wait every game is a must win now!! I hope the wild can pull away in the standings alittle. LETS GO WILD!!
Scott K
With Vancouver and Calgary both wining their games last night put the stanings really tight again. Tonight is a big must win, the the rest of the season is just must wins . It would have been nice to have seen the Wild pick up a good player before the trading deadline. Hopefully that doesnt come back to haunt them.
Fishing_High
Basically like you guys said every game is a must win. Every one in the division only has division games left so if we lose you know either calgary, vancouver, and colorado will be scooping 2 points it will be another tight finish. Go Wild can't wait for the game tonight.
yakfisher
Finally a road win. And the last period and a half looked like a hard fought and well deserved win.
maros91
Backstrom looked good. D looked all right. Too many turnovers in our own zone. Pouliot is looking good also.
knoppers
big win for the wild, if we win tomorrow, even better.

maros91
If we win tonight, we will be division champs IMO. It will take a leg out from both Calgary and Vancouver knowing that we just came into their house and beat them.
Fishing_High
Yea can we beat Calgary though???????? 1-5 or something this year. Time to have someone step up and have a big game against them.
maros91
This message is for Martin Skoula: You are not good enough to lead the rush up ice. If you do lead the rush and you lose the puck don't chase the puck aimlessly through center ice and get caught with an odd man rush coming back. Your turnovers are killing the team. There has to be somebody that can play D better than Skoula. Now for the game. Giving up goals in the last minute of a period is a no-no. Giving up a goal in the last minute and the opening moments of the next is a cardinal sin. Pouliot continues to impress me getting 2 goals tonight. Too many juicy rebounds by Harding. We had the goon hat trick tonight. Boogaard, Simon, and Fedoruk all went to battle tonight with Simon really working over his mate . I do like the never-say-die attitude towards the end of the 3rd. The 2 guys I hate for the Flames, Iginla and Phaneuf, killed us. I don't know who I hate more, them two or the Sedin boys. Now we go to the hottest team in the division, Edmonton. Got to get some points and find a way to get Skoula out of the line up.
