Trying to find shrink tubing

I am looking for 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" shrink tubing, I have called and looked at most of the hardware, auto parts and misc places in the twin ports with no luck. only need a short piece but ran out of ideas. any suggestion where I might look anywhere would help.

opsirc - do you have an electrical supply store near you? they will probably have it but you might have to buy more than a short piece.

Check with an electrical contractor or furnace installer.

You can order it from McMaster-Carr (mcmaster dot com) in Chicago. They have a pack with five 6" lengths for about $7.

HARBOR FREIGHT----They got it in their catalog,think 3' legnths have to but a set 1",1&1/4 & 1&1/2 6-7 bucks if I remember correctly

how short of a piece do you need? i know axman has it here in the cities, but that me be quite the drive for you, otherwise, i may be able to go get it for you and ship it your way?

Sam, I think they have it up at Harbor Freight Tools in Burning Tree Plaza if you havent already found it. Otherwise, post back, and I will see if I can locate some for ya. We almost always have some around.

Check your local welding supply store. It is used to repair the outer sheath for a mig welding torch.
