Oh boy, I think tim's going to cry.... cry.gif

It's ok, let it all out buddy. It's not good to keep your feelings inside.... lmao sick.gif

It feels like a Danielson and Mr. Mieogi moment.

This is a good bunch of guys though, everyone gets along even when their opinion is different and everyone has a good open mind about things.

There gonna get along real good now after I post this. I just got a PM from an O'L buddy of mine, some of you have seen his work. Kyle and Doug borrowed a jig of mine that they never gave back ;), that's a clue. \:\) Dark Cloud got the selection last Saturday. ;\) Out of the kindness of his heart the tourney fishers will have a very special jig of his. Also I will be giving away his fish catching machines for the rest of you to enjoy. Because he is not going in to mass production and it is a hobby, after i take care of the tourney I will be handing out these little gems for you to enjoy. I invited him to the site and your not gonna meet a nicer guy than Rich...

Awhhh, Tim, I got a warm and fuzzy feeling. That's why we love ya, bud. Always thinking of your guys. As one of your "3", you can rest assured you're safe when it comes to me and I'll defend you with all I've got. Mr. Miyagi, how come I never had an instructor so easy going? Wouldn't have worked anyway, I was too hard core, I guess. The guys used to say that when I put on the fighting gear, my eyes changed. lol "...Let me see your war face...!" Lee, once the LX5 gets here, if we get together again, you're welcome to use the LX3 and Ant's got the camera for sure.

Jay I hear from HarwaterChef sssshhh.. that your blankety/blanks are reeling in some nice craps. I'll email Rich about the blanks. I'll be bringing my magic black box, everywhere I go I believe that's all I will ever need to catch crappies and bluegills which is surprisingly self contained in one box... Did I say one box, yes I did... \:D I'll be testing the paint out on a few of your blankety blanks Saturday. Your getting alot better colors to dip aren't you? ;\) Nice.. grin.gif

Ray - Appreciate it.. You'll enjoy the unit even more as you helped a long time lurker of ours and good pal in Jim. Were building a following outside of NY, I think that's pretty cool.. We do our business and have fun doing it...

Fishingking - Nobody questioned your, well, maybe a little. \:D Glad you cleared things up... Being soft spoken probably helps you seal the deal with chicks ;\)

You got it buddy but the question is, "Are your dipped jigs fish catchers like Jay's, hmmmm. I might have to do some experimental testing for you a matter a fact I could use a few more jig lab rats on here as well \:D

There's nothing like homemade, eh Dark Cloud grin.gif

Ray, Steve, Todd and Jay you got mail...

Franky say's we need to get a group photo together for the site with some unigue clothing accessories to show the masses were a fun bunch of ice heads.

I won't be home tonight from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. taking Rosa out for dinner and a movie for her birthday this past Wednesday...

Ahh some things never change. Did they give you time off for good behavior? Glad you're back, it's been quite around here without ya.

Let me know if you're up for Monday. I have some running to do in the morning, but should be good to go by 9:30 - 10:00.

So the jigs are working well? whistle.gif I just painted the last of them I have for today.

Tank and I are hitting a local lake this afternoon, bringing the lights for the late crappie run too.

You guys have my interest peaked with these new jigs, anyway someone can take a pic of it so I can see it? Getting my hands on a couple would be even better... grin.gif

This is a great group of guys, I'm not the most trusting guy out there (Hard lessons learned the hard way) but after talking and meeting with many of you I'm glad I let my guard down. Now I just have to learn how to improve my on ice hospitality.. lol

Jay, Anthony said that jerky was the best he ever had and wants more.... lol grin.gif

I will pass out these jigs like Santa Claus because the guys I'm dealing with are not for profit but for you having fun and enjoying there creations catching fish. • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
    • The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there.  About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.
    • It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway.  Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work.  You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water.  When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.
    • We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
    • I've been out on the flats. It's like being on a different planet
