How do you get pictures to show up?

I was wondering how people get pictures to show up in the post without putting a url in the the message section. All I want to do is put the picture in the message so that the image shows up when you read the post.

You have to put the URL to the picture in the message section. If you go to the full reply screen the button to help with posting pictures is the third one from the left on the menu. It just helps you by creating the image tags around your URL so that it will display the picture. The URL goes inside of these tags -

As far as i know you need to get a URl for your pic. A site i use is photobucket.com which is free. there are other services out there as well. photobucket not only allows you to download a pic and get a URL on it, but you can also down load video as well.

Very user friendly and ez to use.

I use photo bucket as well, its very easy to use. All you need to do is upload the picture from your computer into your account and then you use the "img code" link that is below the pictures.... There is a button for pictures right above the box that you write you post in. Just click that then copy and paste the img code into that and your good to go. Hope that helps

I was able to get the picture into the message but was wondering if their was a way to do it so the image would appear and a person would not have to go to the HSOforum that has the pictured stored

Try ImageShack, they don't require any email address and they don't share your photos.

I figured out how to do the photo thing i hope everyone likes the photos I am putting on the message these are some of the things I came across last year I will definately be getting some more fish pictures for sharing also the photo below that is of the fish in the water, those fish are 45 feet deep. That is how cleat the water was at that spring no fishing is allowed there.

Select the direct link option from photobucket. copy that code and paste in where it asks you to do so in your profile for your Avatar
