I'm a backtrolling maniac and have Whitecaps on my Lund Pro Angler which have served me very, very well. They make it easy to figure out which ones you need and are very easy to install yourself in an hour or two. I'm sure the Wave whackers are good products also but I have no reason to change.

Not to go too far off of the subject, but do the Whitecaps or Wave Wackers interfere with putting on the boats storage or travel cover? I have an 1850 FishHawk, and would like to put them on also.

Thanks

Wave Wackers on my boat but never had the White Caps so I can't give you an opinion one way or another, but I have no complaints about the WW's. Seem to be built pretty well.

I have Wave Wackers on my boat. I got them with the boat when I bought it. The dealer told me that they go on better than anyother brand so that is all they use. I personally think they just use WW's so they can charge through the nose.

Even with that being said I really like my WW's. They have an extremely nice mounting system. They come off with a couple of thumb screws.

My SWAG (Scientific Wild *** Guess) is that either brand is probably a good choice. Six one way, half a dozen the other.
