I had that same thought, Tony Jr. is not in the Engineer mold that most of the Hendrick Crew Chiefs fit into. I didn't see anything in the little bit I watched that addressed Eury...

Mr Hendrick will buy himself many more championships with the drivers and crew members he has in his stable. Money seems to always dominate and Mr Hendrick has no problem with that.

One only needs to look at what teams are now winning all the races and the rest are being left in the dust.

Seems there will only be a few teams left that will have the money to buy up all the good people and teams to race on Sunday. It wont be long and NASCAR will have another issue to deal with.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Once he and his new team get to know each other and "gel" so to speak, there is absolutely no reason he could not have a run like the 24 car is having this year...and the 24 and 48 have had in past years.

If they were to keep Kyle, Hendrick might have to do some footwork to keep him as they are I believe at thier max for owned teams as far as the limit. Maybe JJ could be part owner or another Gordon/hendrick team if that is allowed. I'm sure they already have a plan in place.

Wow, what a shock for Jr fans. Harvey, I can understand you changing fav. drivers. To me that would be like Farve going to the Vikings. I just couldn't root for him anymore being a packer fan. But you gotta find someone other then Stewart wink.gif

Question now is does Lawdog start rooting for Jr and does Perch jr go off the deep end? Myself, I think I might find myself cheering for Jr now to finish second behind Gordon of course. Will be nice to finally see what Jr can do with a good team and some money.

outdoor ran, I've never had a problem with Jr. and I believe I've said so many times. My only problem has been his rabid fans and how they are such Gordon haters. This move made my year because it brought a driver I like to my favorite team, got rid of the shrub, AND drove all the beer can throwing rednecks nuts! This couldn't really have gone any better! You bet I'll cheer for Junior (to run second behind Jeff)!

I would have to think that this move would calm down the most rabid Dale Jr. and Gordon fans, wouldn't it? How could the fans not become more tolerable now that their beloved driver and most hated driver are on the same team. I will not have any (ok..much of a) problem hoping Gordon finishes 2nd every week to Jr. grin.gif

Is Jr. mature enough now play third fiddle? He's never been anything but "the man" in his career up to this point. It will be interesting for sure to see what he does with winning cars. If he dosen't win more now we will know the answer on how good he really is.

Still laughing! grin.gifgrin.gif
