LFC, I had some sweet bullies to give ya, then the wife called so I could not deliver like I wanted to. I gave them to FD they are now dead. I got a trap set out hopefully some shiners and bullies and maybe even some redtails will be int there. Im going to check on it tommorow. I let ya know.

A buddy and I would lke to come up. We fish for cats quite often but never get the "big ones" there just not real frequent around here. So what I am saying is that we are not sure what to bring or what we need. We usually fish with a hook and weight with crawler. So if someone would be willing to help us out we would really enjoy it and appreciate it. Thanks to all who help

You will want heavy line(probably 50 lb or slightly more); a big sinker weight (2-3oz.); and live bullheads for bait; or cut sucker, shad or chub minnows(mainly for channel cats); and a decent size hook for the large bait you will be using. use braided line.

Definitely count me in, at least until about 2 in the morning or so. I'll hopefully be coming w/ a buddy of mine. We'll have a boat but neither of us have been catfishing b/f, so we'll be looking for a few pointers. Looking forward to it!

Rain? ) seems like we have been fishing in rain about 80% of the time lately. So far the weather is suppose to be beautiful that weekend and its also the 2 days after a new moon. Lets keep our fingers crossed. Dragonfish from Iowa is coming up too.

There will be a few of us fishing both Fri and Sat nights so I am sure there will be people around all day Sat.

There is an Art/Music event going on at Land of Memories Park The 17th so Camping might or might not be an issue, so if you plan on camping, it might be a good idea to show up early Sat. There will also be people camping Friday so I can give you an update how the camping situation is looking Friday Afternoon.

OK, first off I'm really looking forward to this event. I'd love to stick a fish for a new avatar and upgrade my KOTC entries. (OK, so maybe that's a little agressive but that's what I'm shooting for) It will also be nice to meet a few more of you cat fanatics.

What time is everybody going to blast out of camp on Sat? I have to work on Sat, but can leave mid afternoon and try to be in Kato around supper time. I have a little "flex" in my work schedule so I guess I'd like to meetup at camp around supper time or an hour to two before everybody hits the water.

My guess would be heading out around 8-8:30ish, depending on wether or not you know where you are going on the river.

I am bit suprised by the lack of attention to the solistice deal...seems this would be a real pain in the but...I am hit or miss, as I some family bussiness to tend to on Saturday in Austin-who knows though....
