We always make a laker trip in early January and usually end up catching one decent muskie on every trip...I was the only one in our group that hadn't caught one yet. We were having a tough day and decided to change areas and depths. We started pounding holes in areas I had fished in the spring previously. We ended up getting a couple nice lakers and then a string of losses, breakoffs, etc...we were getting pretty down when this fish hit..after a pretty substantial fight we landed him. Caught on a 4" glow tube with some custom features ,thorne bros 40" baitcasting rod, 14# test... If you wanted to see the video search "peek a boo ice muskie"...I got my biggest ice laker on this trip too...

While going to college in Bemidji I have been renting out a cabin on lake Andursia. My roommates and I have been walleye fishing and spearing the lake mostly to ourselves this winter. I was able to spear this nice northern and another the same size the very next morning. Sure gets the heart pumping when a nice northern crushes your decoy! Any pickled fish for any you?

not huge, but a good fish. caught and released. (as 99.9% of all my fish are)

Ive caught them up to 47 inches, and was in the boat for a 50 incher.

Nice pictures. Its weird how a guy can just be out there shooting shots on the lake, and when you go back and look at them, they are awesome looking.

my digatal camera is water proof. have taken lots underwater but it needs to be clear and sunny to get a good shot - that and without sticking my head in the lake its kinda guess work......

My Buddy Got this one on Minnetonka Fishing For Pike Last Week. I was lucky enough to get a picture with it also. No tape measure but we guessed it to be about 45" If you guys think its more or less give me a shout.

Fish was released Promptly.

Fishing on mantrap last week for pike with jig heads plastic grubs and minnows my buddies caught 40in and 38in both got a quick pic and released to fish again.

Fishing on Lake Vermilion Last week, throwing a Minnow Rap for smallies and caught this pig. 44". Got a quick photo and back in the lake she went!

Nice fish!! How was the fight being that you were casing for bass? I am sure that your gear wasn't totally suited for that!

The fight was pretty sweet! It lasted about 5 minutes. Got half of it on video. But yea, my gear was definetly not ready for that fish. But I did have a leader on though.
