pushbutton
thanks sled!.......we woke up this morning and first thing he wanted to do(after watching some cartoons that is) was go out and and catch more "noathens". fish have been just popping the last couple weeks, the lake we were fishing, 5 ft or so in heavy cover has been the ticket. nothing over 32 but plenty of action. pushbutton
thanks rienhard, this fish was well fed, if you look closely at the first pic. you can see the outline of what probably is a small bass protruding from it's belly...... Nick Kuhn
Any idea what's up with this very unhealthy looking pike? It just looked very odd and thin. Also I caught it off some very shallow rocks so it beat itself up on top of that.

Nick Kuhn
goldie11 said: parasites mabey? not sure but it sure looks wierd I sent the picture to the fish biologist and he said it was a type of parasite. He said they mostly affect panfish, but on rare occasion will affect gamefish and trout. No threat to the fish community from the sounds of it. Keith_MN
Couple pics from a recent trip to NW Manitoba: Me with a 38"er My biggest of the trip was 41"s And a 41"er that my brother caught Biggest fish of the trip was 46+"s, but I haven't received a copy of it yet. Sure wish we had big gators like these in MN.

ted4887
Kind of a bad picture, but it's not real easy trying to manuever a big fish in a kayak. Caught it jigging for perch on a 1/32oz jig and minnow.
