westb
Bears have played two cupcakes that have no chance of making the playoffs. Vikings have played a playoff team and a predicted superbowl team. Vikings will probably split with the Bears this year but the Bears will not win at the dome Vikings 24 the Bears 10. milnortech
I agree with you. the bears havent even faced a good defenseyet this year. Ill take the vikes 24 to

Like I said in an earlier post, both Washington and Carolina played without their top offensive player. And to add everything you've said about the Vikings opponents is all based on preseason. Look at Washington and Carolina's combined record 0-4. They are not very good teams this year, and neither team will come close to making the playoffs. I agree the Vikings are a better team this year, but you guys will come back down to earth after the Bears game. For those of you willing I will make a 1 week avatar bet with you guys. Bears win you must change your avatar to a Packer friendly logo, If the Vikings win I will put up a Vikings one. Who's gonna accept the challenge? buzzsaw
I can only assume a betting man such as yourself would give the 3 points that the Bears are favored by correct?

buzzsaw
I love it when a Packer fan jumps on the Bears bandwagon! Classic! I'll take those three points and my vikes.... no guts no glory.... while we are at it why don't we bet on the packers game? I'll take whomever they are playing and give you the points.. Eric Wettschreck
Heck DTE, I'll take that bet just cuz it sounds fun. Advance warning for ya that if you win you have to teach me how to post an avitar cuz I have no flippin clue.Buzz, I think the pack are playing my high school team. My high school team is favored by a touchdown.

Granted I did predict the Bears to win the NFC North last year, but not really a bandwagon jumper. Will stick with the Pack through thick and thin. Well, very thin right now. Actually since I've lived in MN now for 7 years I watch the Vikes on a regular basis and like to see them win as well, except when they play the Packers, of course. Its nice to see you guys finally have an owner dedicated to the team and willing to put together a competent coaching staff to get things done. I've been very impressed with the Wilf regime so far.I just think at this point in time the Bears are head and shoulders above the NFC North, and two mediocre wins against two below average teams in the NFL aren't convincing me the Vikings are going to win this game. The only thing they have going for them is its at home, but I don't think it will be enough. Packers are at Detroit this week. Not a good success record there for the Pack, but I'll take you counter offer. What are the points? I assume the Lions are favored.
Sandbar
Before the season began, nobody considered Washington and Carolina below average teams. The Purple could be 0-2 like the Packers very easily, but we're not. I think grossman will be pounded on by the Purple defense this weekend. He is playing way over his head. The Vikings will win this one 24-13.

vikingtom
Panther are pick by most to win it all. And Both teams Washington and the pathers were missing only 1 of thier top offenceive players.

Not even close. Takes a great team to suck up a loss like that. My team (the Skins) are not one of those teams. Not when Grampa Brunell only shows up every third week.BuzzI look forward to your avatar. You're a good sport. Maybe you could bet garage door murals for the Soldier Field game? Only one comment on the game. The Vikes looked solid, especially on D. They will remain in the hunt. I won't blame the loss on the refs, but they were FAR too involved in the first three quarters IMO. That PI call was just pathetic.
buzzsaw
I agree Spinner, I'm in no way blaming the refs for the outcome, but the freegin refs missed a simple call where there guy waved his hand on a punt return for a free catch and then ran it back... no flag!! They showed that replay like five times on the big screen at the dome and even looked at the replay and still didn't throw the flag... the pass interference call was a crime! Anyways, the Vikes/Bears game was a push based on the 3 point spread, but the packers beat the Lions so I'll ask... what avatar would you like me to upload?
