    Daunte to ATL??

Quote: He won't be when the season starts and I hope he is on our schedule and comes to the dome and kicks our a$$'s and maybe that will silence you Daunte haters . And you are a Viking fan? Bwahahahahahaha. If Daunte lands on another NFL team, you should cheer for his new squad.

    Trent Green

Quote: Culpepper will be back with the vikes this year I predict. Good luck with that fellas. That is one of the "top ten" dumbest posts ever on the football board.

    Guacamole?

I found a few recipes online for homemade guacamole. But I was curious if anyone on FM has "secret" recipe they would like to share. Thanks in advance, Dean

    Michael Vick

I was watching ESPN last night and they were showing clips of dog fights. It almost made me sick to my stomach. Vick is innocent until proven guilty. Regardless, whoever is responsible for this should have the full extent of the law thrown at them.

    OH WELL

Quote: After seeing the schedule, it looks like a 3-13 season for "Chili the "Poindexter" Childress. You interested in a wager on your 3-13 prediction? I'll bet you a $100.00 gift card to Cabelas the Purple win 4 or more games next year.

    Prime rib on the grill

Here's how I would do it: Room temp the roast. Hand rub the fat cap with beef base. Cover the fat cap with a thick layer of coarse salt and sliced garlic. (4-5 cloves) Preheat grill to 500 degrees. Set roast on grill, sear for 5-10 minutes. Remove roast and place in heavy duty foil pan and cover. Reduce grill temp to 275-300 degrees. Use a digital meat thermometer if possible. Personally I get the center temp to 110 degrees and pull the roast. Keep the roast "tented" with tin foil and let rest for 15 minutes.

    Do we draft brady Quinn?

IMHO, I would rather see the Purple try to work something out to get Schaub from Atlanta. I would not give them a 1st and 3rd round pick, but maybe package a 2nd round pick and a player. I don't think Quinn will be a successful QB in the NFL. But, I didn't think Lienart would be very good either. I think I'll be eating some crow on that prediction.

    Dennis Green now available

Quote: Its funny all the people (players, coaches) on the vikes that were run out of the state......well now that "we" got "our" wish, what are we left with? Worse off, thats what. Ummmmmmm.... you sure that Childress is a complete failure after ONE season with the Vikings? Maybe we should give him one more season before throwing him under the bus.

    Crestliner Fishawk 1850

I have a 2003 Fish Hawk 1850 DC with a Suzuki 140 4 stroke. I love the boat, plenty of hole shot and tops out around 44 mph. IMHO the 115 is not enough motor for the boat. As many other posters have said, the asking price is WAY to high. If you are looking to spend around $19,000, buy a brand new boat. I would max the HP with a 150. Too bad it is very difficult and costly to power a C-liner with anything but a Merc. If I bought new again, and money was no object, I would get the 1850 Fish Hawk and power it with a Suzuki 150 4 stroke.

Wife says yes to a new boat!!

Quote: My wife wanted a boat that we could "all" feel comfortable in so we ended up with a Lund Explorer. I only fish for species other than bass perhaps twice/year. I also fish in a bass club so get to fish out of multiple boats. DO NOT go the Lund/Crestliner route if you can avoid it - glass boats have a WAY smoother ride, handle better, get to shallower water easier, and are much easier to bass-fish from - they are a real pain to flip/pitch or skip from compared to the bass boats - too much freeboard - mine is loaded with nicks from the jigs hitting it before it gets away from the boat. Lund/Crestliner are not set up for fishing tournaments either - rod lockers are both in rear, gear up front, for the most part. At least they have livewells in both ends. Not sure if you ever want to get into tournaments but it might be a consideration. Oh, by the way - "all" of us have only been in the boat twice in the three years we have had the stupid thing....go figure. Finally, remember this sage piece of advice that someone wise shared with me and I do believe it is true...."The two best days of a boat owners life are the day he buys it and the day he sells it" Daze Off Wow, nice way to "generalize" all Lunds and Crestliners. Have you actually been in any of the "high end" C-liners or Lunds lately?
